Surprise, surprise! It’s actually happening!
Work on the La Massana-Ordino diversion will begin at the start of 2024. The Government has already tendered the first construction phase of the new road.
The aim is to finish the project in 2027 so hopefully by then, the centre of La Massana will become pedestrian friendly and also a lot quieter. The disadvantage is that all existing and new projects that currently look out towards nature will now have a busy main road in front of their property.
